Our Team
The pediatric hematologic malignancy team at CHAM includes a multidisciplinary group of providers:
- Peter Cole, MD is pediatric oncologist and leads the hematologic malignancy program. Dr. Cole’s clinical practice focuses on treatment of children with leukemia and lymphoma and he is an active participant in the design and conduct of clinical research trials, aiming to improve cure rates for children and young adults with hematologic malignancies, while decreasing toxicity. Dr. Cole is a member of the Dana Farber Cancer Institute Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Consortium, Chair of the Retrieval Protocol Subcommittee of the Children’s Oncology Group’s Hodgkin Lymphoma Committee, and the CHAM Principal Investigator for Children’s Oncology Group trials.
- Michael Roth, MD specializes in the care of children with myeloid malignancies (such as AML) and is a member of the Children’s Oncology Group’s Myeloid Disease Steering Committee.
- Lisa Figueiredo, MD specializes in the care of children and young adults with non-Hodgkin lymphoma and Myelodysplastic Syndromes. She is an active participant in clinical trials run by the Children’s Oncology Group for patients with these conditions.
Additional members of the hematologic malignancy team include nurse practitioners Megan Duggan and Catherine Scorrano, radiation oncologist Jana Fox, MD, psychologist Dr. Leslie Cunningham, social worker Trish Camia.
